Tunisian Harissa!

Yum Harissa! Harissa is made from chili, red pepper and other peppers and spices to give a beautiful tasty pepper paste that is very versatile. During our recent travels to Tunisia we visited a beautiful town called Sidi Bou Said, a beautiful town located near the capital, Tunis. We brought our nice, thick Harissa paste there, it even smells different from the Harissa that comes in a jar, there is a great mixture of tasty spices and nice peppers. It is said that Harissa was originated in Tunisia. With this versatile paste, it is used in many Middle Eastern dishes such as Harissa Lahori And Makhni Halwa, and Arabic Semolina Cake. You can also use it to make delicious sandwiches, sauces, desserts and it pairs great with meats. There’s a million things you can do with Harissa, why not find a million a one things to with it?
